Loch Lomond and the Trossachs area of CentralScotland boasts a wide selection of great golf courses and golf clubs to suit all abilities.
Scotland experiences a year round golfing climate and throughout the summer months the daylight hours last from around 5am until about 10pm at night. You can often play a round of golf in Scotland before breakfast or well into the evening.
Loch Lomond and surrounding area offers great golf with fabulous scenery. The cost of a round of golf can vary from under £5.00 to over £50.00 depending on where and when you play. It is always best to contact the club you would like to play to confirm play times etc.
Loch Lomond Golf Club is well known for hosting the Barclays Scottish Open in July each year, and attracts golf enthusiasts from all over the world. While you might need to be on a long waiting list or know a member to play the Loch Lomond golf course, the Cameron House Hotel recently built a new and equally worthwhile course - the Carrick, which was completed in 2007.
