Esporta Dougalston Golf Course is situated in the leafy Glasgow suburb of Milngavie, just ten minutes drive from Scotlands City of Culture.

Commander Harris designed the course in 1975 to Championship Standard in the heart of the Dougalston Estate. Stakis financed the project with the view to building a hotel complex. In the summer of 1975 Brian Barnes and John Chillas opened the course and commented on the stunning layout, which has proved to be a stern test of golf for all levels.

The course has recently undergone significant development under the Esporta banner. This included the introduction of two completely new holes and significant drainage improvements, and the new course lay-out was officially opened to rave reviews.

Our fantastic facilities include an 18-hole championship standard golf course, mid to short iron practice area, very welcoming clubhouse with changing rooms, bar and function suite. There is also the chance to take advantage of the health and fitness club, including fully equipped fitness arena, swimming pool, spas, sauna and steam room.
