Hill House
|
The Hill House is the largest and finest of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's domestic buildings and it is located in the town of Helensburgh. Within easy access of Glasgow, the Hill House is within an hour's drive of the city centre with regular train services from Glasgow Queen Street train Station. The Hillhouse occupies a hillside that looks out over the Clyde estuary, and is surrounded by grounds meticulously landscaped by Mackintosh. The Hill House bears the image of Scottish baronial traditions. Stroll around and view the Mackintosh designed fireplaces, furnishings and fittings!
