Joyce Young, a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, has been a fashion designer since 1975. Having gained vast experience in the fashion industry she decided to launch By Storm, a new concept in the bridal market. The first shop opened in 1994 in Bearsden, Glasgow.

Unlike retail shops Joyce Young’s bridal shop in Glasgow can tailor make your outfit exactly the way you want. The design you choose is made especially for you, to your measurements, therefore if you want some changes to the original design this can be done. Joyce who is passionate about her native land grew up surrounded by the soft muted colours of the landscape. Her career has spanned over four decades and her signature creations are classic shapes in luxurious fabrics with colour and detail giving each garment its very own unique personality. Joyce Young has been at the top end of the Scottish Wedding industry for over 21 years. The team have won many awards for design and customer service.
