The Old Manse is situated in the Trossachs & Loch Lomond National Park and nestles on the edge of Gartmore village with spectacular views of the Campsie Fells and Ben Lomond.
Built in 1864 for the Free Church, the Old Manse is full of character and the comfortable home of Anthony and Jo Weld Forester. They welcome you to share their joy of living in such a specially beautiful and central area, north of Glasgow, but 20 min. from Loch Lomond and 30 mins. from Stirling. This rural area encourages walking, biking, golf, riding, boating and a great deal more.
Accommodation on First Floor
Double bedroom with en suite luxurious Bathroom and glorious 15 mile view. This new bathroom has large roll-top freestanding bath, power shower, basin, wc.
Twin Bedroom with private upgraded bathroom, including shower, bath, basin wc.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the dining room or the conservatory, both of which can be sunny and look over lawns, fields, sheep and hills.
The Menu includes: fruit juice, seasonal (home grown if possible) fruits and yogurt, grapefruit
organic porridge or cereals, toast (homemade bread)
free range scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and mushrooms
Pittenweem kippers and smoked haddock
fresh coffee or an assortment of teas
We also offer Dinner at the Manse (by arrangement) for £30 a head for a three course meal
