Glencruitten Golf Course is James Braid's hidden gem nestling among the hills of Glencruitten Estate. It is a short, hilly scenic course set in the beautiful Glencruitten Glen on the outskirts of Oban, Argyll. Among the fauna, buzzards are a regular sighting, as are pheasants, heron and deer. Although not visible, there are the remains of a vitrified Roman fort, on top of the hill on the 4th hole, which is a listed ancient monument.
