The immediate area has a wealth of attractions, including Inveraray Castle, Charles Rennie Mackintosh?s Hill House, the glorious gardens of Argyll & Bute, the Glengoyne Whisky Distillery and the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar.

The house is situated 100 yards from the Village Inn, a well renowned traditional bar and restaurant serving excellent Scottish fayre, which appears in the Good Beer Guide. Other fine restaurants in the vicinity include The Creggans Inn, Cameron House Hotel and Loch Lomond Castle Lodges. The village shop is a two minute walk from the house, and other amenities are close by.
