The Museum of Highland Life
The objective of the Museum of Highland Life is to serve as a local focus point of how life was in the West Highlands throughout history and to highlight Clan MacFarlane's place in it. This will be evident in the collections of historical items from the area and the Clan itself.
Also located on the first floor, The Tartan Shop will feature a modern kilt shop where anyone can stop by to get themselves outfitted in proper highland attire. This includes ordering kilts and accessories where particular items can be delivered to the homes of our domestic and international guests.
Restaurants in Tarbet includes the Rustler's Restaurant located on the ground floor of the Clan MacFarlane Heritage Centre. This traditional restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Scottish food, draught beers, bottled drinks and wines.
