Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond Golf Club 2008 Congratulations to the 2008 Barclays Scottish Open winner Graeme McDowell Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell all but secured his place in Europe's Ryder Cup team after he clinched a two-shot victory at the Scottish Open. "This is just unbelievable, it really was a tough weekend's golf and it is a massive relief," said McDowell after picking up a winners' cheque of £500,000, the biggest of his career. "I refused to be measured for my Ryder Cup clothes last week but maybe I will accept next time" he told the BBC.
