Castle Stuart Golf Links will be the seventh Scottish course to play host to the prestigious tournament following in the footsteps of Downfield, St Andrews, Haggs Castle, Gleneagles Hotel, Carnoustie and Loch Lomond Golf Club, which staged proceedings over the last 15 years from 1996 to 2010.
