Loch Lomond Food & Drink Festival
Lomond Shores Balloch 10am – 6pm
This amazing event is now running for its 7th year! Already we have some fabulous food providers booked in for you to come and visit - have you tried the award winning pies from Skinners Butchers? They are here for the weekend with absolutely mouthwatering pies and meats. What about the Scottish venison from Winston Churchill? And cakes....dont even get us started on them. The Loch Lomond Food and Drink Festival is a celebration and demonstration of great Scottish cooking and excellent produce from both within Scotland's first National Park, and throughout Scotland. From the farmers to the chefs, the Festival will whet your appetite by tasting and selling game and fresh fish, tasty soups and bread, succulent roast meat and vegetables, and washing it down with tasty beer and whisky.

Annual commemoration of the Battle of Stirling Bridge - March from Stirling Castle to the bridge, gather on castle esplanade at 6.45pm. All welcome. Also a brilliant event to just watch!

Callander Jazz and Blues Festival 2012
The 7th annual Callander Jazz and Blues Festival is once again fast approaching and as always will offer a long weekend of superb music. We are looking forward to a very lively festival weekend.
The Wallace Monument Stirling
From April to September the Wallace Monument by Stirling holds live performances by costumed actors – bringing Sir William Wallace and the characters of his time to life. Listen to the story of The Battle of Stirling Bridge, or even have your photograph taken with a Scottish warrior from the 14th Century! Presentations take place between 11.15am and 3.30pm each day on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays (and at weekends only from October until December, and during February and March).
Scottish Farmers' Markets at Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch
1st and 3rd Sundays of each month
Perhaps the most panoramic situation of any market in Scotland. Featuring around 30 regular stallholders ranging from cheese and chocolate makers through to producers of organic eggs, beef, lamb, pork, home made soup, smoked foods, seafood, jams, confectionery and home baking. Entry to the Farmers’ Market is free. Open 10 am till 3.30 pm.
