Lomond View Chalet at Rowardennan has a lochside position, sitting in the shadow of Ben Lomond. Lomond View is set on a quiet, private estate of chalets and lodges next to the Rowardennan Hotel which offers good food and relaxing bars. The chalet sleeps six adults and two children with well-behaved pets welcome.

This well appointed chalet is ideal for those who prefer self catering accommodation and provides a great base for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Rob Roy country and Argyll. Rowardennan is on the quieter east shore of Loch Lomond, 6 miles north from the village of Balmaha and makes the perfect destination for a get away from it all, family holiday or short break. Rowardennan nestles beneath Ben Lomond and is a popular resting point for walkers following the famous West Highland Way walk from Milngavie, outside of Glasgow, to Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland.

At Rowardennan you have access to some wonderful loch side and hill walks on your doorstep. Of course you can also climb Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly Munro. Apart from walking, Lomond View Chalet has direct access to the loch for water based sports and easy launching for those who prefer to bring their own water craft. There is a jetty and shallow beach which is ideal for canoeing from or launching windsurfers and sailing boats. Moorings are also available for hire.

Lomond View Chalet at Rowardennan provides the perfect location for those who enjoy walking, climbing, cycling, fishing, water sports, golfing or simply relaxing..

Loch Lomond is one of the world's most stunning and best known locations at the southern end of the Scottish Highlands. Within easy reach of the cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling.

Directions : How to get here
To get to Rowardennan head for Drymen on the B858 just left off the A811 Stirling Road. In Drymen turn left onto the Balmaha Road the B837. After around 4 miles you come to Balmaha. The road then narrows and heads north for around 6 miles (watch for walkers, cyclists and oncoming traffic). You will then come to the Rowardennan Hotel on the left nestling beneath Ben Lomond. Check in for Lomond View Lodge at at the Rowardennan Hotel.
