Set at the foot of the Campsie Fells and overlooking the Carse of Stirling is the picturesque village of Balfron, in the Strathendrick registration district. This lies between Stirling and Loch Lomond. Up to 20 wedding guests can be accommodated at Balfron Registration Office. Saturday civil weddings are available by appointment.

This office offers a choice of three marriage rooms for civil marriage ceremonies:-
The Registrar’s Room: this room is ideal for small wedding parties of bride and groom, 2 witnesses and up to 6 guests.
The Marriage Room: this room, which looks out onto the lawns and flowerbeds at the front of the municipal buildings, is decorated in blues and greens. The beautiful wood desk is complimented by tweed upholstered high backed chairs for the bride and groom and their two witnesses with matching chairs for a further 16 guests.
The Municipal Chambers: with rich red upholstered chairs, paintings and beautiful stained glass windows, the Chambers will be an ideal venue for larger weddings of bride and groom, 2 witnesses and up to 56 guests. The manicured lawn and historic Priory archway in the gardens allow beautiful photo opportunities.
