The Black Bull Hotel Killearn is a well presented, local hotel in the heart of Killearn near Loch Lomond. A genuinely friendly welcome awaits (especially from dogs Archie and Penny!) and with superior cooking ranging from tasty homemade soups and terrines through to mouthwatering puddings and desserts, it’s no wonder people are prepared to travel quite a distance to come here for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.

Killearn is a peaceful, very picturesque village in west central Scotland, nestling at the foot of the scenic Campsie Fells and close to beautiful Loch Lomond and the bustling city of Glasgow. It is a popular residence for commuters who work in Glasgow by day but prefer a rural setting by night. A thirty minute drive, on a good day, will comfortably get you to the city centre. Killearn is an ideal base from which to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. It is also within easy reach of the historic city of Stirling.
The Black Bull has two eating areas - the Bull Bar & Bistro and the Conservatory Restaurant offering:
Breakfast - an extensive breakfast menu is available seven days a week.
Lunch & Dinner - Our Conservatory Restaurant is generally open at the weekends for dinner and is also available for private hire.
Afternoon Tea - Served in the Conservatory during the summer months and in front of a log fire in the Lounge Bar in the winter.
The cosy lounge is adjacent to the conservatory and diners can enjoy a pre-dinner drink or after dinner coffee and liqueurs seated in comfortable, squashy sofas and chairs. In the winter, a roaring log fire adds to the atmosphere and in the warmer summer months, double doors open into the conservatory with marvellous views out into the gardens.
