Visitor Attractions

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park has an abundance of attractions and other places of interest to visit.

Whatever the weather you will be spoilt for choice for things to do and see in this idyllic part of Scotland.

Trossachs Woollen Mill, Callander

Meet our resident local celebrities, Hamish the Highland Bull, his wife Heather and little Honey, that was born early in 2011. Hamish is always happy to have his photo taken and will gladly pose with you. There's great shopping with confectionery, travel rugs, Hamish mementos, clothing, toys, food, whisky and much more. We also have weaving looms dating back to 1927 and were used until recently to produce the famous Trossachs rugs. Our coffee shop serves PURO Fairtrade coffee, snacks, meals and refreshments every day.

Denny Tank, Scottish Maritime Museum, Dumbarton

Visit the Denny Tank in Dumbarton, watch the world’s first commercial ship model experiment tank in action and discover how William Denny & Brothers' innovative, experimental approach to shipbuilding made waves in the shipbuilding industry from the 1800s to 1963. Kids go free at the family-friendly, interactive Museum, which was recently awarded a four-star VisitScotland grading. There’s so much to see and do. You can:
