Barclays Scottish Open : 7th to 10th July 2011 : Castle Stuart Golf Club, Inverness
Played a week before The Open Championship, The Barclays Scottish Open is always one of the most keenly contested championships. The championship spent 15 years at Loch Lomond Golf Club and in 2011 the event moves to Castle Stuart Golf Links. Last year, Edoardo Molinari captured his maiden European Tour title and in doing so claimed a place in Europes Ryder Cup Team, with his nerveless performance convincing Colin Montgomerie to hand him the final Captains pick.

Johnnie Walker Championships at Gleneagles : 25th to 28th August 2011 : Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder
The Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles celebrates its 13th anniversary at the Scottish venue this year. First played in 1999, the tournament has seen plenty of drama over the years, none more so than last year when Italian Edoardo Molinari birdied the last three holes to capture his second win on Scottish soil in 2010 and force his way into The Ryder Cup Team as one of Colin Montgomeries Captains picks.

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship : 29th Sep to 2nd Oct 2011 : St Andrews Old Course, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns
The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is played over three venues – St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns – with professionals being partnered by amateurs from other sports, entertainment or business. First played in 2001, when former Open Champion Paul Lawrie captured the title, the Championship’s final round is played over the Old Course at St Andrews, giving an iconic backdrop to the pro-am event. Last year it was Martin Kaymer who held off the field to capture his third win in as many appearances following victories in the US PGA Championship and KLM Open.

Ricoh Womens British Open : 28th to 31st July 2011 : Carnoustie
The 2011 Ricoh Women’s British Open is all set for another memorable championship when it makes its first appearance at one of the most famous and difficult links courses in the UK, providing a stern test for reigning champion Yani Tseng, past Birkdale champions Catriona Matthew and Laura Davies and the rest of the world’s best female golfers.

The Ricoh Women’s British Open is one of the most exciting Majors in golf. As the only women’s Major played outside the US it is the most international with the 2010 field boasting players from 22 different nations and included every player inside the world’s top 20.
