The games are held each year in Balloch Castle Country Park,
situated close to Balloch Castle on the shores of Loch Lomond.


The Lomond Folk Festival
Annual event held at Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond. Artisits include Donnie Munro and Raggle Taggle Gypsies.

Glasgow River Festival

The hugely popular Glasgow River Festival provides a colourful opportunity to celebrate the past, present and future of Glasgows historic waterfront with two days of free family entertainment. A mixture of water and land activities and entertainment in and around the SECC, Glasgow Science Centre and The Tall Ship Glenee.

Scottish Farmers Markets

Farmers Market Loch Lomond Shores : Balloch
Perhaps the most panoramic situation of any market in Scotland Featuring around 30 regular stallholders ranging from cheese and chocolate makers through to producers of organic eggs, beef, lamb, pork, home made soup, smoked foods, seafood, jams, confectionery and home baking.
Entry to the Farmers’ Market is free. Open 10 am till 3.30 pm.
