Beefy's Great British Walk 
Join Sir Ian Botham, President of Leukaemia Research on his 12th charity walk. Together we can make this walk the most successful yet. This year’s walk will be taking place for 9 days between October 10th and 18th and will visit 9 towns throughout the UK.  On Day 8 - on the 17th October 2008 the walk comes to
Mugdock Country Park just outside of Milngavie.  Mugdock Country Park is one of Scotland's most popular visitor attractions offering a great countryside experience. Beefy will be completing a five-mile walk through the Country park taking in wonderful views of the Campsie Hills and Mugdock Reservoir.

An opportunity for keen cyclists to have a go at this tough endurance sport.
