Dining at The Stables is a light and informal affair, which appeals to a wide range of customer - from those looking for a quick business meeting lunch (free internet connection) to lingering girlie chats.

We enjoy a reputation as the place of choice for family get togethers which creates a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Visitors and regulars alike love our house Steak Pie and our Homemade Soups are hard to beat. Having a vegetarian manager means our veggie friends are well catered for and the younger members of our family keep us well informed regarding what the discerning under ten year old is eating these days.

With one of the proprietors as head chef and another as front of house manager you are always assured of that little bit extra when you visit the Stables.We are within a 40 minute drive from Glasgow or Stirling and definitely worth finding.

Fresh ideas at The Stables - includes a tempting display of cakes to enjoy in the restaurant or to take away for later. Drive up for a coffee available to take away as well. Sunday supplements to the menu are The big Sunday Brunch Fry up and Sunday Roast Beef Dinner.

The restaurant offers a warm welcome to all our guests whether you are in for lunch, an evening meal or maybe just a drink! Our restaurant has built up a reputation for fine dining within one of the finest settings on Loch Lomond. The Cruin offers views up the loch to Ben Lomond and across the water to Inchmurrin Island. We also have a private jetty to welcome guests by boat.

The Duck Bay Marina Restaurant on Loch Lomond is located just off the A82, 2 miles north of Balloch 

With its extensive menus and unsurpassed views, Duck Bay Restaurant is part of Duck Bay Hotel and Marina and is one of Central Scotland’s finest restaurants. Delicious food prepared with only the freshest of local ingredients, our à la carte menu offers a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. Our superb wine list provides an extensive selection of European and New World wines to complement your meal.

Our famous  restaurant has commanding views over Loch Lomond and the Ben, serving scrumptious  every day. Our menu changes seasonally so that we can offer our guests dishes which are suited to the best locally sourced produce available.

Our dinner menu is served daily between 5pm and 10pm.
Our lunch menu is served daily between 12 noon and 5pm.

The Hungry Monk Restaurant has now closed. Located 5 miles from Balloch on the A811 the Hungrey Monk is part of the Cawley Group of hotels.  The Hungry Monk is under major re-development. A new retail site is coming soon! Watch out for further news!

Kilted Skirlie restaurant in Balloch is located at Loch Lomond Shores.
