When you register your craft, you will be notified of it's Registration Number which will be unique to your boat. A registration number comprises a white 'backing sheet' with a prefix letter and four numeral digits. You will be given free of charge a copy of the Byelaws Booklet, a card explaining the navigational buoys on Loch Lomond and two Annual Marks. You are required to display the Registration Number and the Annual Marks on your boat in such a way as prescribed by the Interim Committee. For the convenience of boat owners the Interim Committee can provide, at a cost of £5.00, all the materials necessary to fulfill the above requirements. The Registration Number shall be placed on both sides of the boat, in a convenient location where easily seen when boat is stationary and underway. N.B. They listen out on VHF channels 16 and 37A. In Emergency Dial 999 to mobilize The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat based at Luss. Be ready to give as much information as possible as to your location, nature of emergency and whether persons are injured.
